While still in high school, Maria started in the field of dentistry by working for a family friend who was an orthodontist.
She decided to pursue a related career and earned her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Portland Community College.
Maria soon started working for Dr. Kasch, the founder of Sleep Dentistry of Portland. An integral part of our practice, she has celebrated more than 25 years of working with him at Sleep Dentistry of Portland.
She has been a key participant in Dentistry From the Heart from it's commencement at Sleep Dentistry of Portland and she has continued to participate every year.
Outside of the office, Maria enjoys baking, camping and fishing, and taking long walks.
Her daughter keeps Maria busy with a love of animals – especially horses.
