Our Staff

The cheerful team at Sleep Dentistry of Portland includes many people who work with patients and behind the scenes to make your family’s dental care as comfortable and easy as possible.

Maria — Hygienist

While still in high school, Maria started in the field of dentistry by working for a family friend who was an orthodontist.

She decided to pursue a related career and earned her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Portland Community College.

Maria soon started working for Dr. Kasch, the founder of Sleep Dentistry of Portland. An integral part of our practice, she has celebrated more than 25 years of working with him at Sleep Dentistry of Portland.

She has been a key participant in Dentistry From the Heart from it's commencement at Sleep Dentistry of Portland and she has continued to participate every year.

Outside of the office, Maria enjoys baking, camping and fishing, and taking long walks.

Her daughter keeps Maria busy with a love of animals – especially horses.

Vicky — Hygienist

Originally from Colombia, Vicky is bilingual and speaks both English and Spanish. She moved to the United States more than ten years ago and began working for the Multnomah County Dental Clinics.

She decided to return to school to pursue her dental hygiene degree. She graduated from Mt. Hood Community College in 2011 with high honors.

While studying at Mt. Hood, her passion for promoting dental health and the prevention of oral disease earned her the American Dental Hygiene Association Professionalism Award for academic excellence.

Vicky offers compassion and dedication to each of her patients. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and participates in monthly meetings to stay current with advances in dental hygiene.
